Presented at the 2012 Art Live Fair in Miami, FL, Orpheus and Eurydice plays with the idea of physical distance and sonic intimacy. In this installation, two elevated platforms are placed 90 feet apart. Above the buzz of the convention where the piece was presented, a performer sings facing away from the audience on one of the platforms, projecting his voice onto a large parabolic dish that transmits the sound directly to where the audience sits in the other platform.
